What is WITH people?

My rant for the day: What is WITH you people? (lol)

Incident #1:
My best friend is on the subway this morning and needs to get through a crowd. Everyone moves politely - except for "that guy"... (you know the one... the one who is over 40, likely lives in his Grandma's basement and has never had a girlfriend). After trying to get through, BFF loses it a bit (rightfully so) and "that guy" swears at her and PUSHES her!!! Well, FYI, my BFF is a firecracker, she doesn't take any sh*t. She freaks out back at him, and promptly leaves the train.

Prompting me to ask, what's WITH you people?

Incident #2:
My workplace has tons of elevators. But for some reason, there is only ever one that seems to be functioning. Thus, people crowd onto these elevators (well past their capacity, I'm sure), all the time apologizing with giggles and saying, "sorry - is there room for little ol' me?" (keep in mind that "little ol' me" is often someone who is pushing the scales a bit, and the "apology" is really not an apology at all, as one of my co-workers points out). Today, some dude squeezes himself in (with the apology, of course) and the proceeds to turn and SNEEZE onto the top of some woman's head. Seriously. The grossest thing I've ever seen (well, almost).

Prompting me to ask, what's WITH you people?

What to do?

So, my level 2 french teacher is a DISASTER. She has lost all of us and no one understands her lessons. I'm considering transferring out... not sure what to do. Eeeeek!

On another note - when will this winter end? I know, I know, it is Canada, it snows, blah, blah, blah... but seriously... all I'm asking for is zero degrees and perhaps a gentle flurry once in a while. I've been trying to convince the man that we need to book our annual spring trip down south ASAP, so that I have something to day dream about. He wants to wait for better deals. *Sigh*
